Fortis Healthcare shares in focus
Following the announcement by Fortis Healthcare Ltd. that its wholly-owned subsidiary International Hospitality Ltd. has entered into a 15-year lease with RR Lifesciences Ltd. for a 200-bed fully-operational multispecialty hospital in Greater Noida, the company's shares are under scrutiny on Tuesday, September 2.
The hospital's performance will be consolidated into Fortis' network as it will take full operational and financial control.
Since October 2002, Fortis has operated and maintained the plant under an O&M agreement. Under the new lease, the facility will now be known as Fortis facility Greater Noida.
The facility occupies 2.7 lakh square feet of built-up space on 1.35 acres of land that UPSIDA has leased. It might add 50 more beds to its capacity, bringing the total to 250.
The project is at a prime location because it is connected to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, Metro (Aqua line), and Greater Noida Expressway. The future Jewar International Airport is 34 kilometers away.
