In Chikhli, Gujarat, Waaree Energies opens a 5.4 GW solar cell gigafactory.

The complex has a built-up area of 101 acres and is dispersed over 150 acres. It has solar cell technology with great efficiency. Additionally, 9,500 direct jobs and another 30,000 indirect employment opportunities would be created, according to the business. Pralhad Joshi, the minister of new and renewable energy, stated, "Waaree's dedication to domestic manufacturing is in complete harmony with our national vision of making India a global manufacturing hub for clean energy technologies."
