Karnataka Power Corporation faces a ₹542 crore lawsuit from BHEL for unpaid debts.

Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd. (KPCL) has been sued by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) in a business litigation to recoup unpaid debts totaling ₹542.14 crore. The complaint, which concerns payments due under an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for a Bellary Thermal Power Station unit, has been filed before the Bengaluru City Civil and Sessions Judge.
