Kwality Walls will be included in the Nifty 50 starting on December 5. -HUL's demerger

On Friday, November 28, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) declared that Kwality Wall's India will be part of the Nifty 50 index starting on December 5. In advance of the FMCG giant's intended demerger of its ice cream business into Kwality Wall's India Ltd., the NSE will have a special pre-open session for Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HUL) on December 5, the exchange announced in a circular. The demerged company Kwality Wall's (India) Ltd will be temporarily added to 35 Nifty indexes at a zero price as part of the index modifications, using the dummy symbol "DUMMYHDLVR."
