RBI approves CS Rajan’s reappointment as part-time chairman of Kotak Mahindra Bank till 2027

C S Rajan has been reappointed as Kotak Mahindra Bank's part-time chairman till October 2027 by the Reserve Bank of India. In addition, Rajan is an Independent Director on the boards of Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company Limited and the bank. The reappointment guarantees leadership and governance continuity as the bank advances on its strategic growth path, the bank said in a statement.
