Reliance Power and Reliance Infrastructure stated on Friday that their business activities and financial results are unaffected by the chargesheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against Anil Ambani and others in a bank fraud case worth ₹2,796 crore. A chargesheet was issued by the CBI on Thursday, accusing Reliance Commercial Finance (RCFL), Reliance Home Finance (RHFL), Yes Bank, and companies connected to the family of former Yes Bank CEO Rana Kapoor of engaging in fraudulent transactions. In separate exchange filings, Reliance Power and Reliance Infrastructure stated that, in accordance with Supreme Court rulings in 2022 and 2023, problems pertaining to RCFL and RHFL had been completely settled through independent lender-driven procedures headed by Bank of Baroda and governed by RBI regulations.
