Six deaths at the plant will be investigated internally by Godawari Power & Ispat.

Godawari Power & Ispat Ltd (GPIL) announced on Saturday that it is looking into six deaths that occurred "in an incident" at its Chhattisgarh plant internally. At a private steel plant in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, an accident inside a furnace on Friday claimed the lives of four officials and two employees. Six other people, including a general manager, were injured, according to police. In an exchange filing on Saturday, the business stated that it is dedicated to take all necessary steps to prevent a repeat of such an incident in the future and that an internal probe is underway for a comprehensive investigation.
