Tata Chemicals Ltd. said on Saturday, November 1, that its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2025 (Q2FY26) was ₹77 crore, a 60% year-over-year decrease from ₹194 crore during the same time the previous year.
Due to the UK's reorganization and muted market circumstances, revenue dropped 3.1% to ₹3,877 crore from ₹3,999 crore a year earlier. EBITDA, or earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization, was ₹537 crore, down 13% from ₹620 crore in Q2FY25. This decline was mostly due to reduced volume and lower realization, which were somewhat mitigated by improved cost control.
Margins fell to 13.8% from 15.5% in the previous year. As of September 30, 2025, the company's net debt was ₹5,583 crore, not including ₹776 crore in lease obligations.#FundamentalViews#TechnicalViews
