The Bihar Education Project Council gives RailTel several orders totaling more than ₹600 cr.

The Bihar Education Project Council has granted RailTel Corporation of India Ltd a Letter of Acceptance for the implementation of the Education Quality Enhancement program under PM SHRI, valued at ₹209.79 crore. The project is expected to be finished by September of 2026. According to the company, the agreement includes implementation and supply services meant to improve the state's educational infrastructure. It would improve schools' access to contemporary learning resources throughout Bihar by covering ICT laboratories, Integrated Science and Mathematics labs, smart classrooms, and teaching materials delivery. A string of contract victories contributed to RailTel's shares closing 2.86% higher at ₹373.80 on Friday, indicating ongoing investor interest.
