The net debt of Godrej Properties increases by 42%.

The net debt of real estate company Godrej Properties increased by 42% to ₹4,637 crore in the June quarter as the company seeks to grow in order to satisfy the high demand for dwellings. At the conclusion of the previous fiscal year, its net debt was ₹3,269 crore. The company's debt-to-equity ratio increased from 0.19 to 0.26, but it is still at a fairly comfortable level, according to its most recent investor presentation. "We have set an absolute cap that we would like to look at for net debt of ₹10,000 crore," stated Gaurav Pandey, MD and CEO of Godrej Properties, during a conference call with analysts.
