Vardhman Textile Q2 Results: Net profit falls 5%, margin expands from last year

While Vardhman Textile's margin increased 90 basis points year over year to 13.5% from 12.6% in the previous quarter, the company's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) increased 6% to ₹334. The business has improved profitability in spite of all the Trump outbursts. Although the company serves certain US-based brands indirectly, it has little direct exposure to the US market. The quarter experienced modest increase in the textile category. In FY25, 43% of total sales came from exports. At ₹443.05., shares of Vardhman Textiles Ltd. are up 8.52% since the earnings announcement. So far in 2025, the stock has dropped more than 12%.
