Vedanta declares ₹16 per share payout

On Thursday, Vedanta Limited declared that a second interim dividend of ₹16 per equity share, valued at ₹1 apiece, had been authorized by the board for the fiscal year 2025–2026. The company stated in a regulatory filing that the dividend is roughly ₹6,256 crore. Wednesday, August 27, 2025, has been designated as the record date for identifying qualified shareholders, and the dividend is anticipated to be paid within the legally mandated timeframes. Vedanta had already hinted that the dividend would be discussed at today's board meeting. For the current fiscal year, this is the company's second interim dividend. In June of this year, the board of the corporation issued the first interim dividend of ₹7 per share.
