reported strong sales momentum in Q4FY25, with standalone net sales rising 16.03% YoY to ₹1,198.23 crore, compared to ₹1,032.72 crore in Q4FY24. However, despite the top-line growth, quarterly net profit slumped 55.74% YoY to ₹71.37 crore from ₹161.24 crore, primarily due to a steep rise in tax outgo, with the tax rate surging to 68% from 25% last year.
EBITDA stood at ₹227 crore, up 12.37% from ₹202 crore, while operating margins were healthy at 19%, though lower than the 20% seen in the same previous quarter year. EPS fell significantly to ₹63.35 from ₹143.13 in Q4FY24 and ₹100.99 in Q3FY25, reflecting the sharp drop in bottom-line performance. On a yearly basis, FY25 standalone revenue came in at ₹4,446 crore, up 13.2% from ₹3,927 crore in FY24.
Net profit for the year stood at ₹476 crore, down 11.2% from ₹536 crore last year, despite a stable EBITDA growth to ₹770 crore from ₹706 crore. The decline in net earnings was driven by higher depreciation, interest, and a jump in effective tax rate to 38% from 25% in FY24. While FY25 sales are at an all-time high, the sharp compression in profits raises questions on cost pressures and tax impacts going forward.
