ADANIENSOL
has secured a ₹2,800 crore power transmission project in Gujarat, aimed at supporting Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia production in Mundra. The project involves upgrading the Navinal (Mundra) substation with two 765/400kV transformers and constructing a 75 km long 765kV double-circuit transmission line to connect it with the Bhuj substation. This expansion will add 150 cKM of transmission lines and 3,000 MVA capacity, boosting AESL’s network to 25,928 cKM and 87,186 MVA.
The project, secured through tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB), is expected to be completed in 36 months. This marks AESL’s sixth major order this fiscal, bringing its total order book to ₹57,561 crore. Additionally, AESL has acquired 100% equity in Mundra I Transmission Ltd. (MITL) from PFC Consulting Ltd. via a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) signed on March 20, 2025, further strengthening its role in India's energy transition.
