Secures ₹1,660 Cr Green Transmission Project

has bagged a ₹1,660 crore inter-state transmission project in Maharashtra aimed at evacuating 1.5 GW of green power, boosting its transmission order book to ₹61,600 crore. The project will add 3,000 MVA of substation capacity and is targeted for commissioning by January 2028. This win takes the company’s total transmission network to 26,696 circuit km and 93,236 MVA transformation capacity. Financially, AESL delivered a strong Q4FY25 with net profit up 87.4% YoY to ₹714 crore and revenue rising 35.4% to ₹6,375 crore. EBITDA came in at ₹2040 crore, up 30% YoY, with margins improving to 32%. For FY25, full-year EBITDA touched a record ₹7,067 crore, reflecting consistent growth across transmission assets, rising regulated base in Mumbai, and better treasury returns.
