AstraZeneca Pharma India Secures CDSCO Approval to Expand Cancer Drug Access

has received approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) to import, sell and distribute its cancer medicine Imfinzi (durvalumab solution for infusion in 120 mg/2.4 ml and 500 mg/10 ml formats) for a new therapeutic use in India, allowing the drug to be used in combination with standard chemotherapy regimens for treating specific adult cancer patients.
