Bajaj Electricals Ties Up with SEAK to Power Smarter Tunnel Lighting

BAJAJELEC
has signed a three-year agreement with SEAK, a company based in the Slovak Republic, known for its lighting control electronics and software. This partnership allows Bajaj to use and resell SEAK’s products, as well as handle the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of tunnel lighting projects across India. There’s also room to jointly explore projects in other countries going forward. The goal is to offer smarter, energy-efficient lighting solutions tailored to India’s growing infrastructure needs. Bajaj aims to blend SEAK’s technology with its own on-ground execution capabilities. At present, exports contribute 1.54% to Bajaj’s FY24 revenue, with a presence in over 40 countries. Lighting solutions made up 20% of the company’s revenue in Q3 FY25, with recent projects including street lighting for Maha Kumbh 2025 and lighting upgrades at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
