BEML Wins ₹294 Cr Defence Deal

BEML
has secured a ₹293.82 crore order from the Ministry of Defence for supplying high mobility 6x6 vehicles, a positive for its defence vertical and overall order book. This comes alongside a solid Q4FY25 performance, where the company posted a 12% YoY rise in net profit to ₹287.5 crore, and revenue grew 9.1% to ₹1,652.5 crore. EBITDA rose 13.9% to ₹422.6 crore, and operating margins improved to 25.57% from 24.5%, reflecting better cost control and execution. Though the board has held off on the final dividend decision, a second interim dividend of ₹15/share has already been declared. With exposure across defence, mining, and rail infrastructure, BEML is well-placed to benefit from rising capex in public sector projects, but sustained order inflow and margin stability remain key to monitor.
