Bharat Electronics Adds ₹1,092 Crore in Defence Orders, Strengthens Order Book Momentum

has secured fresh defence contracts worth ₹1,092 crore, covering electronic warfare system upgrades, defence network enhancements, tank sub-systems, TR modules, communication equipment, EVMs, and related spares and services. Backed by healthy execution and a favourable product mix, BEL posted Q1FY26 revenue of ₹4,417 crore (up 5.2% YoY), EBITDA of ₹1,240.4 crore (up 32.2% YoY), and a margin expansion to 28.1% from 22.3% last year. With an order book of ₹71,650 crore as of April 1 and inflows of ₹7,348 crore already secured—27% of its FY26 guidance of ₹27,000 crore (excluding a potential ₹30,000 crore missile order)—BEL continues to build strong visibility for sustained growth.
