Bharat Electronics Strengthens Order Pipeline with ₹608 Crore Defence Contract Win

Bharat Electronics Ltd ($BEL) continues to build momentum in the defence sector, securing additional orders worth ₹608 crore since its previous disclosure on May 5, 2026. The latest contracts cover a wide range of defence and strategic products, including communication equipment, avionics, information fusion centres, coastal surveillance radar systems, seekers, jammers, tank sub-systems, laser-based fuzes, simulators, medical electronics, batteries, spares and related services. This follows fresh orders worth ₹569 crore received last month, indicating a steady start to FY27. BEL's strong order inflows reflect sustained demand for its core defence electronics, electronic warfare systems, high-energy lasers and advanced communication solutions. The company delivered a robust performance in FY26, securing orders worth ₹30,000 crore, including export orders valued at $346 million, while export sales grew 33.6% year-on-year to $141.9 million. As of April 1, 2026, BEL's order book stood at approximately ₹74,000 crore, providing strong revenue visibility and reinforcing its position as a key player in India's defence modernisation and indigenisation efforts.
