BHEL secures orders in railway safety and thermal power projects

BHEL
has received an order worth ₹22.87 crore from South Western Railway for the design, development, supply, and commissioning of KAVACH safety systems, to be executed within 18 months at its Bengaluru facility. In addition, the company recently accepted a ₹2,600 crore LoI from MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Ltd for equipment supply to the 1x800 MW Anuppur thermal power project, with execution scheduled over 58 months. Boilers will be manufactured at Trichy and turbine generators at Haridwar. These contracts expand BHEL’s order book across railway safety technology and large-scale power generation equipment, reflecting its participation in diverse segments of India’s infrastructure development.
