Biocon Biologics Brings Stelara Biosimilar YESINTEK to the US

Biocon Biologics has launched YESINTEK (ustekinumab-kfce) in the U.S., a biosimilar to Stelara, providing a more affordable treatment option for autoimmune diseases like Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, plaque psoriasis, and psoriatic arthritis. Approved by the FDA in December 2024, YESINTEK offers the same formulations as Stelara, including 45 mg/0.5 mL PFS, 90 mg/mL PFS, 45 mg/0.5 mL vial, and 130 mg/26 mL vial. With a robust patient assistance program, eligible patients may pay as little as $0. This marks Biocon’s first U.S. biosimilar launch as a fully integrated global player, strengthening its presence in the $20 billion immunology market.
