CESC Secures 600 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Projects via Competitive Bidding

CESC
has awarded Letters of Award (LoAs) for 600 MW of wind-solar hybrid power projects, following the Ministry of Power's tariff-based competitive bidding process. The utility's subsidiary, Purvah Green Power Private Ltd, obtained 300 MW at a tariff of ₹3.75/kWh, while the remaining 300 MW went equally to Vismaya Renewables India Project Private Ltd (₹3.74/kWh), Hexa Climate Solutions Private Ltd (₹3.75/kWh), and Sprng Energy Private Ltd (₹3.75/kWh). These 25-year power purchase agreements enhance CESC's renewable portfolio through arm's-length transactions.
