CG Power Secures ₹450 Crore Order for Vande Bharat Trainsets

has received an order worth ₹400–450 crore from Kinet Railway Solutions Limited for the supply of propulsion kits, motors, transformers, and other railway components for 10 Vande Bharat trainsets. Additionally, the company has entered into a 35-year service agreement as part of a long-term supply contract. With 86 years of experience in railway solutions, CG Power manufactures traction motors, propulsion systems, and signalling products and has recently expanded into Train Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS) – KAVACH. Since its acquisition by the Murugappa Group in 2020, CG has strengthened its market position, operating 18 manufacturing plants across India and Sweden with a workforce of 3,113 employees.
