Daily Market Update - 14/07/2025

On July 11, the Indian equity market closed lower with the Nifty 50 slipping 0.81% to 25,149.85, the Sensex down 0.41% at 82,500.47, and Bank Nifty declining 0.35% to 56,754.70, as intraday charts reflected persistent short-term weakness. The index remains under pressure on both 5-min and 15-min timeframes, trading below the 9-, 70-, and 100-period EMAs. After a sharp sell-off from the 25,650–25,700 zone, Nifty is consolidating between 25,125–25,180 with RSI near 30 on the 15-min chart, signaling oversold conditions but lacking strength for a reversal. Immediate resistance stands at 25,220 and 25,260, while a breakdown below 25,125 could drag the index toward 25,000. GIFT Nifty, trading nearly flat at 25,180.50 on July 14, hints at a cautious start to the week. Global markets echoed similar weakness, Dow Jones fell 0.63% to 44,371.51, Nasdaq slipped 0.22% to 20,585.53, and the S&P 500 declined 0.33% to 6,259.75. While commodities showed resilience, with Silver MCX up 3.65% and crude prices marginally higher, broader sentiment remains fragile. Until Nifty reclaims resistance with volume-backed strength, the technical structure favors a sell-on-rise approach with close monitoring of key levels. Stocks under the F&O ban list for today are
