Dalmia Bharat’s ₹3,520 Cr Expansion Drive in Maharashtra & Karnataka
DALBHARAT
is making a bold move with a ₹3,520 crore investment to expand its cement production in Maharashtra and Karnataka. The company, through its subsidiaries, will set up a 3.6 MnTPA clinker unit and a 3 MnTPA grinding unit at its Belgaum plant in Karnataka, along with a new 3 MnTPA greenfield grinding unit in Pune, Maharashtra.
This expansion will be funded through a mix of debt and internal accruals and is expected to be completed by Q4 FY27. Once operational, Dalmia Bharat’s total cement capacity will reach 55.5 MnTPA, including its ongoing 2.9 MnTPA expansion in Assam and Bihar.
Technically, DALBHARAT is currently trading near a critical support zone around 1680–1700, where buyers have historically stepped in. The daily chart indicates a downward trend, with the stock consistently facing resistance near the 100-day and 70-day EMAs, which are currently converging around 1811. The RSI on the daily timeframe is near 33.28, signaling oversold conditions, but there’s no confirmation of a reversal yet.
On the 30-minute chart, a minor bounce is visible from support, with the RSI recovering to 51.11, suggesting a short-term relief rally. However, unless the stock reclaims 1755–1760, any upside may remain limited. A breakdown below 1680 could trigger further downside toward 1640, while a sustained move above 1760 would shift momentum in favor of bulls.
