Dilip Buildcon: New Adani EPC win lifts stock

DBL
reported receiving a letter of award from Adani Road Transport Ltd. for an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) package tied to the Ganga Path road project in Bihar, valued at about ₹3,400 crore. The stock reacted positively, rising as much as 5.6% intraday to ₹491.7 and trading around ₹479.5 (up ~3%) at about 2:00 pm, taking its year-to-date gain to roughly 5.5%. The mandate covers a 41 km stretch connecting Sultanganj–Bhagalpur–Sabour Road, with Bihar State Road Development Corporation Ltd. listed as the employer. The stated execution timeline is 42 months, and the scope includes end-to-end responsibilities such as design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning—typical of an EPC delivery model. Separately, the company had also disclosed earlier in the week that it was declared the lowest bidder to develop 1,365.55 MW (AC) of grid-connected solar capacity under the PM KUSUM-C (Feeder Solarisation) scheme, implying an EPC opportunity of around ₹4,900 crore to be executed over ~18 months, including operations and maintenance. Taken together, these updates indicate an expanding executable pipeline across roads and renewables, which likely supported near-term investor sentiment. Disclaimer: This post is for informational purposes only and not a recommendation to buy or sell any securities.
