Dilip Buildcon Secures ₹268 Crore Gujarat Project Amid InfrastructurenExpansion

$DBL, through its joint venture with Ranjit Buildcon Ltd (DBL-RBL JV), has secured a new Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) order worth ₹268 crore (excluding GST) in Gujarat. The project includes the design and construction of the Ged Barrage, river protection works, and other allied infrastructure across the Sabarmati River between Hirpura Barrage and Lakroda Weir in Sabarkantha district, along with a 10-year operation and maintenance commitment. The project is scheduled to be completed within 24 months, strengthening the company’s order book and presence in the water infrastructure segment. On the financial front, Dilip Buildcon reported a consolidated net profit of ₹62.05 crore in Q4 FY26, down 63.7% from ₹170.83 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations declined 25.7% to ₹2,299.8 crore from ₹3,096.1 crore, while EBITDA fell 40.7% to ₹392.3 crore, with EBITDA margin narrowing to 17.06% from 21.35%. The company noted that the previous year's profitability was supported by exceptional gains from stake divestments in HAM projects and investment sales, making year-on-year comparisons less comparable. Additionally, the board has recommended a dividend of ₹1 per equity share, representing 10% of the face value, subject to shareholder approval. The latest project win highlights continued execution opportunities in infrastructure development despite near-term pressure on financial performance.
