Dixon Expands Component Capabilities with Two New Strategic Deals

DIXON
is strengthening its position in electronics manufacturing by setting up a new joint venture with Chongqing Yuhai Precision, where it will hold a 74% stake. The JV will focus on making precision parts for mobiles, laptops, IoT, and auto products helping Dixon reduce its reliance on imports and deepen localisation. At the same time, Dixon is also acquiring a 51% stake in Q Tech India to expand into camera and fingerprint modules, key components for smartphones and smart devices. These two moves are aligned with its broader goal of increasing backward integration, boosting margins, and becoming a stronger end-to-end solutions provider under India’s Make in India mission. Both deals are subject to final approvals, but they clearly show Dixon’s intent to move beyond just assembly into core component manufacturing. Follow me for more such updates, Thank You!
