GAIL’s MoU with Cummins and Partnership with CONCOR and Technical Outlook
GAIL
has entered into an MoU with Accelera by Cummins to collaborate on clean energy and energy transition projects in India. The partnership, signed during India Energy Week 2025 in New Delhi, aims to explore green energy solutions such as hydrogen production, blending, transportation, and storage. By leveraging GAIL's extensive natural gas infrastructure and Cummins' expertise in zero-emissions technologies, the collaboration supports GAIL’s goal to achieve "net zero" emissions by 2035, five years ahead of the initial target.
GAIL has already made significant progress in clean energy initiatives, including the commissioning of a 10 MW Green Hydrogen unit at its Vijaipur plant in Madhya Pradesh in April 2024, and pilot studies on hydrogen blending in CNG/PNG networks. The company has also set up a 5 TPD Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant in Ranchi and plans to establish 26 more plants across India in the next 3-4 years. Additionally, GAIL is collaborating with Leafiniti Bioenergy to set up 10 more CBG plants and with Coal India for Synthetic Natural Gas production in West Bengal. GAIL’s partnership with CONCOR to establish LNG stations nationwide further supports the shift to green transport, with the first station planned in Khodiyar, Ahmedabad.
Technically, GAIL has immediate support levels at ₹186.62 and ₹184.00, with resistance at ₹195.00, and ₹210.71. The daily RSI stands at 58.89, indicating healthy strength, while the weekly RSI at 53.21 suggests neutral to positive momentum. The stock remains in a positive trend as long as it holds above ₹184.00. A breakout above ₹195.00 could lead to a rally towards ₹210.00 and beyond, while a fall below ₹180.00 may signal weakness in the near term.
