Glenmark Expands US Portfolio with Clindamycin Phosphate Foam Launch

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals' US subsidiary has introduced Clindamycin Phosphate Foam, 1%, a bioequivalent alternative to Evoclin Foam, 1% by Mylan Pharmaceuticals, for treating acne vulgaris. The product offers an affordable solution while maintaining clinical efficacy. The Evoclin Foam market generated $5.8 million in sales over the last year, highlighting strong demand for acne treatments. This launch strengthens Glenmark’s dermatology portfolio. Additionally, Glenmark, in partnership with Cosmo Pharmaceuticals, has secured UK approval to market Winlevi, an acne treatment cream, across Europe and South Africa, further expanding its global footprint.
