GLENMARK
has taken a strategic step to directly commercialise its nasal spray Ryaltris in the United States from April 1, 2026, marking a shift towards a more innovation-driven and self-reliant business model. The company will now handle end-to-end commercialisation, including brand strategy, market access, and customer engagement, gaining greater control over its US operations.
Ryaltris, launched in 2022 and approved by the US FDA for treating seasonal allergic rhinitis in patients aged 12 years and above, is a fixed-dose combination therapy (665 mcg/25 mcg per spray) that combines an antihistamine and a corticosteroid, delivered via a 240-metered spray nasal suspension.
The product is already present in 55 countries globally, with expansion into 11 additional markets in FY26, highlighting its growing international footprint. This move signals Glenmark’s transition from a partnership-led model to a direct commercial presence in the world’s largest pharmaceutical market, positioning it to improve market responsiveness, strengthen physician engagement, and build a sustainable innovative portfolio beyond its traditional generics business.
