Godrej Industries Bets ₹750 Cr to Scale Chemicals Business & Targets $1 Billion Revenue by 2030

is set to invest over ₹750 crore in expanding its chemicals business, aligning with its ambition to become a $1 billion player by 2030. The expansion plan includes doubling capacities of fatty alcohol (by 35,000 TPA), euric acid (by 20,000 TPA), glycerine (by 24,000 TPA), and tripling fermentation capacity (by 1,500 TPA). Additionally, the specialty chemicals segment will grow threefold, adding 21,000 TPA, and primary surfactants will increase by 30,000 TPA. Backed by consistent double-digit growth, the company is also targeting a 75% shift to renewable energy and pushing forward its sustainability agenda through green chemistry, energy-efficient operations, and advanced technologies like biocatalysis and continuous manufacturing, reinforcing its global vision with a solid, green foundation.
