Godrej Industries Plans ₹20,000 Crore Haryana Investment
Godrej Industries Group has signed an MoU with the Haryana government on August 24 to invest around ₹20,000 crore in the state, with the proposed investments expected to generate approximately 40,000 jobs across real estate, infrastructure and related services.
The group has already invested around ₹12,000 crore in Haryana and employs nearly 9,000 people across its businesses. Godrej Properties has invested about ₹11,000 crore so far and plans another ₹16,000 crore by FY28, taking its total investment to around ₹27,000 crore; it currently has 18 projects across Gurugram, Sonipat, Faridabad, Panipat and Kurukshetra, with upcoming projects expected to create more than 11,000 jobs.
Godrej Ventures has invested around ₹1,000 crore in Haryana and plans to deploy another ₹3,500 crore in Grade A+ office infrastructure in Gurugram, which is expected to generate over 30,000 direct and indirect jobs.
Overall, the proposed investments cover residential and commercial development along with the wider infrastructure and services ecosystem, reflecting the group’s continued expansion in Haryana.
