GR Infra Secures Start Date for ₹262 Crore Rail Gauge-Conversion Project

has received the official start date of November 15, 2025, from Western Railways to begin its ₹262.28 crore EPC contract for converting 38.9 km of rail gauge between Kosamba and Umarpada in Gujarat’s Vadodara division. The project scope includes key civil and railworks such as earthwork, blanketing, ballast supply, major and minor bridges, station buildings, platforms, drains, retaining walls, water and sanitation facilities, track linking, and works related to 30 road under-bridges, excluding only the supply of new rails. With a scheduled execution timeline of 730 days, this project reinforces GR Infra’s presence in the rail EPC space and adds meaningful visibility to its order book.
