HAL Strengthens Defence Presence with Fresh Engine Delivery and Major Orders Lined Up

HAL
is gaining strong traction after India received the second GE-404 engine from the US for its LCA Mark 1A fighter jets. With 83 jets already ordered and a proposal for another 97 in advanced stages, HAL is positioned for significant volume growth. The company will receive 12 engines by FY25-end to meet its production schedule. Adding to this momentum, HAL expects to close a ₹2,000 crore order for Dornier aircraft this year. It is also gearing up for a ₹65,000 crore Sukhoi-30 upgrade program, with delivery timelines extending over five years. Despite Q4FY25 profit falling 7.8% YoY to ₹3,958 crore, results beat street estimates. Revenue came in at ₹13,700 crore and EBITDA margins stood at a robust 38.6%. Shareholders will benefit from a ₹15 final dividend, bringing the FY25 payout to ₹40 per share. With a strong order pipeline and a ₹2.6 lakh crore target book by FY26, HAL remains a core defence play with solid long-term visibility. Follow me for more such updates, Thank You!
