HCC Achieves Q3FY26 Profit Turnaround, Secures Major Railway Order
Hindustan Construction Company (
HCC
) reported a consolidated net profit of ₹8 crore for Q3FY26, reversing a ₹38.9 crore loss from the prior year. Revenue fell 8.1% year-over-year to ₹925.3 crore, yet EBITDA swung to ₹67.2 crore from a ₹30.7 crore loss, signaling improved operations.
On a standalone basis, turnover dipped to ₹921.8 crore from ₹1,002.1 crore, but net profit reached ₹85.9 crore versus a ₹216.4 crore loss last year. EBITDA margins edged up to 15.2% from 14.7%, reflecting stronger cost controls.
HCC's HCC-VCCL joint venture (65% HCC stake) won a ₹577.89 crore contract from Northeast Frontier Railway for tunnel construction, earthworks, and ancillary tasks on the Dimapur-Kohima line.
