HCLTech Expands Enterprise AI Capabilities with New AI Innovation Zone in Chennai
$HCLTECH has strengthened its artificial intelligence ecosystem by launching a new AI Innovation Zone in Chennai in collaboration with Intel, aimed at helping enterprises develop, test and deploy AI solutions at scale. The facility is designed to bridge the gap between AI experimentation and real-world business implementation, enabling organizations to move projects from pilot stages to production environments more efficiently. The centre showcases AI solutions powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors with integrated Intel Advanced Matrix Extensions (AMX) and Intel Core Ultra platforms, covering the entire AI technology stack across data centres, cloud infrastructure and edge devices. Key demonstrations include AI Force, HCLTech’s generative AI-led service transformation platform; VisionX 2.0, a vision and video analytics platform; and AI Factory, an end-to-end AI infrastructure platform spanning edge-to-cloud environments. The facility also highlights small language model (SLM) optimisation, AI Platform-as-a-Service capabilities built on Red Hat OpenShift and OpenShift AI, along with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI notebooks and cognitive AI applications. The initiative reflects the growing focus on enterprise AI adoption and reinforces the long-standing collaboration between HCLTech and Intel to accelerate scalable, efficient and business-oriented AI deployment across industries.
