IndiGo Accelerates Regional Connectivity with 30+ New Routes from Navi Mumbai

In a strategic push to strengthen India’s aviation network,

has announced the addition of 30+ new routes from the newly operational Navi Mumbai International Airport between March 29 and April 23, 2026, significantly enhancing connectivity to key cities such as Agra, Ayodhya, Kolkata, Srinagar, and Visakhapatnam, while also expanding regional access through ATR aircraft operations. As part of this expansion, the airline has also launched direct connectivity between Bhavnagar and Navi Mumbai with 14 weekly flights (2 daily services) starting March 29, 2026, marking Bhavnagar as its 97th domestic destination and 142nd overall station, aimed at improving accessibility for business, trade, and tourism segments. This move aligns with the broader scale-up of Navi Mumbai Airport, where daily departures are expected to rise from 22 to 78 flights, with around 1,092 weekly air traffic movements and connectivity to 46 domestic destinations, reflecting a strong capacity ramp-up and positioning the airport as a key aviation hub.
