Infosys Finacle Powers HDFC Bank’s Wealth Management Transformation with Modern Digital Platform

Infosys Ltd., through its Finacle Wealth Management Solution under EdgeVerve Systems, has successfully completed a major technology transformation for HDFC Bank by replacing legacy, manual-driven systems with a modern API-based platform that unifies both domestic and offshore wealth management operations. The new platform is designed to improve operational efficiency, enhance client experience, increase relationship manager productivity and support faster innovation through scalable and personalized wealth management services. It offers a single platform covering 12 asset classes, including mutual funds, fixed income securities, private equity, alternate investment funds (AIFs), structured products, insurance and held-away assets, while also providing integrated risk assessment and goal-planning tools. The solution digitises margin lending with real-time collateral verification, automated workflows and stronger risk controls, enabling quicker approvals and more accurate valuations. In addition, the platform supports multi-currency portfolio management, real-time trade settlements, high-volume transaction processing and automated corporate actions. With the integration of more than 350 APIs, HDFC Bank aims to improve agility, automate compliance, reduce operational costs and accelerate the launch of new products. Overall, this transformation reflects the growing adoption of advanced digital platforms in wealth management, helping financial institutions improve scalability, respond faster to regulatory changes and deliver a more seamless customer experience.
