Infosys Q4FY25 with Muted Outlook, AI Push Continues, Stock Faces Technical Breakdown

INFY
reported a mixed Q4FY25, weighed by global macro pressures. Revenue rose 8% YoY to ₹40,925 crore, missing street estimates of ₹42,133 crore. Net profit declined 11.75% YoY to ₹7,033 crore. In dollar terms, revenue fell 4.2% QoQ to $4,730 million, reflecting weak client spending. Operating margin held steady at 21%, aided by Project Maximus. A final dividend of ₹22/share was declared (record date: May 30). Attrition edged up to 14.1%, with headcount at 3,23,578. FY26 revenue guidance was cut to 0–3% in constant currency. Large deal TCV remained solid at $2.6B, led by Citizens Financial, Siemens, and Lufthansa. Two strategic acquisitions—MRE Consulting (US) and The Missing Link (Australia)—boosted digital and cybersecurity offerings. Wage hikes are set for April; 20,000 freshers to be hired in FY26. On the technical side, the stock broke below the neckline of a double top at ₹1,723.40, triggering a sharp correction. It trades below key EMAs on daily charts, with RSI at ~31 indicating oversold territory. Weekly RSI at ~28 reinforces bearish structure. Unless INFY reclaims ₹1,475.90–₹1,535.90 with strong volume, downside targets of ₹1,306.20 and ₹1,187.50 remain active. While a near-term bounce is possible, the trend stays negative unless key resistance is breached. I have attached the daily chart of
