JSWENERGY
has added 281 MW of new renewable capacity, 215 MW from solar and 66 MW from wind which is taking its total installed capacity to 12,499 MW, of which 55% now comes from clean energy. The wind addition comes at the right time to benefit from the ongoing peak wind season. Alongside this, its arm JSW Renew Energy Three Ltd signed a 25-year agreement with Adani Electricity Mumbai to supply power from a 250 MW wind project in Maharashtra at ₹3.65 per unit. This project is expected to be completed in the next 24 months. With this, JSW Energy’s wind, solar, and hydro capacities stand at 3,482 MW, 1,968 MW, and 1,391 MW, respectively. Overall, the company’s secured generation pipeline has reached 29.9 GW, keeping it well on track to meet its 2030 target of 30 GW generation and 40 GWh storage capacity.
