KOTAKBANK
International has achieved a key milestone by becoming the first Indian firm to receive approval from the UAE’s Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) to operate investment funds and provide portfolio management services. This license will enable the launch of UAE-domiciled funds for retail investors, offering access to India-focused investment strategies and strengthening the UAE’s role as a financial hub.
The company plans to align these offerings with its successful UCITS (Luxembourg) and India-domiciled strategies, with subscriptions set to open by Q4CY25. Backed by strong fundamentals, Kotak Mahindra Bank recently reported Q1FY26 advances of ₹4.45 lakh crore, up 14% YoY, and deposits of ₹5.13 lakh crore, up 14.6% YoY, highlighting robust growth momentum that adds further weight to this international expansion.
