has clinched an ultra-mega contract worth over ₹15,000 crore from Adani Power to build eight thermal power units of 800 MW each, adding a total of 6,400 MW to India’s generation capacity. The project, to be executed by L&T Energy – CarbonLite Solutions, covers the complete design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, and commissioning of BTG packages along with all mechanical, electrical, and C&I systems.
This win comes on the back of a strong Q1FY26, where L&T posted a 29.9% YoY rise in net profit to ₹3,617 crore, revenue growth of 15.5% to ₹63,678 crore, and EBITDA up 12.5% to ₹6,316 crore, albeit with margins slightly easing to 9.9%. The mega order significantly strengthens L&T’s order book, providing multi-year revenue visibility in India’s critical energy infrastructure segment.
