L&T Technology Services Secures $75 Million Five-Year Digital Engineering Deal
L&T Technology Services Ltd (LTTS) has secured a five-year agreement worth more than $75 million with a leading global technology enterprise, strengthening its position in digital engineering and next-generation technology solutions. Under the deal, LTTS will deploy its engineering intelligence capabilities across the customer’s product development and engineering lifecycle, while also supporting the establishment of a dedicated engineering center focused on technology and digital functions.
The contract provides multi-year business visibility, although revenue will be recognized progressively over the five-year period. On the financial front, LTTS reported Q1 FY27 net profit of ₹357 crore, up 7.4% from ₹332 crore in the year-ago period and broadly in line with the ₹358 crore estimate. Revenue increased 2.9% sequentially to ₹2,940 crore, slightly ahead of the ₹2,912 crore expectation, while US dollar revenue stood at $310 million versus the $308.5 million estimate.
Constant-currency revenue growth was 1.5% quarter-on-quarter, exceeding the expected 1.1% growth. EBIT came in at ₹461.3 crore against the ₹451 crore estimate, with the EBIT margin improving to 15.7% from 15.2% sequentially and ahead of the 15.5% expectation. Overall, the new contract adds to LTTS’s order visibility and supports its focus on engineering-led digital transformation, while the latest quarterly performance indicates moderate improvement in profitability and operating margins.
