LTTS Sharpens Strategic Focus with ₹452 Crore Divestment
L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has announced the sale of its Smart World and Communication (SWC) business to AMI Paradigm Solutions for ₹452 crore in a cash deal, marking a strategic shift towards high-growth, technology-led segments; the transaction, signed on March 25, 2026, is expected to be completed by September 30, 2026, subject to standard adjustments like working capital and net debt. The divested unit, which primarily catered to public-sector infrastructure such as smart cities, communication networks, and surveillance systems, contributed ₹1,027.95 crore in revenue in FY25, accounting for nearly 9.63% of LTTS’s consolidated revenue, and held a net worth of ₹445.89 crore (around 7.31% of total net worth). This move aligns with LTTS’s broader strategic roadmap to focus on Engineering Intelligence (EI), along with software and digital manufacturing, targeting sectors like mobility, sustainability, and advanced technology, where it sees stronger long-term growth opportunities. The buyer, AMI Paradigm a special purpose entity backed by ParadigmIT and AM Intelligence Labs (promoted by Greenko Group founders) aims to leverage this acquisition to build AI-driven solutions for public systems and critical infrastructure, highlighting a clear shift toward AI-led ecosystems.
