Lupin to Invest $250 Million in New U.S. Manufacturing Facility to Strengthen Respiratory Medicine Production

LUPIN
has announced a $250 million investment over the next five years to build a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Coral Springs, Florida, aimed at boosting U.S.-based production of critical respiratory medicines. The 70,000 sq. ft. facility, built on over 5 acres of land, will focus on producing more than 25 essential respiratory drugs, including lifesaving albuterol inhalers, and is expected to create over 200 skilled jobs in Broward County by 2030. The expansion underscores Lupin’s commitment to enhancing medicine security, strengthening its global respiratory portfolio, and diversifying the supply chain. This strategic move also aligns with Lupin’s broader goal to expand its U.S. footprint while ensuring reliable and affordable access to high-quality therapies.
