Mahindra & Mahindra Announces ₹15,000 Crore Vidarbha Plant

) plans to establish its largest integrated manufacturing facility for automobiles and tractors in Nagpur's Vidarbha region, Maharashtra. The project involves a ₹15,000 crore investment over the next decade across over 2,000 acres in three locations, with the primary 1,500-acre site in Nagpur and a 150-acre supplier park in Sambhajinagar.​ Set to commence operations in 2028, the advanced plant will produce more than 500,000 vehicles including internal combustion engine and electric models and 100,000 tractors annually. It incorporates automation, digital systems, and sustainability measures to support technological advancements.​ The strategic location benefits from excellent connectivity via Samruddhi Expressway and rail, fostering job creation and regional growth, as noted by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
