MANKIND
has announced a ₹797 crore acquisition of the Women’s Health Rx portfolio from its wholly owned subsidiary, Bharat Serums and Vaccines (BSV), under a slump sale agreement. As per the deal, 50% of the payment will be made on the closing date, and the balance within 150 days. The move strengthens Mankind’s leadership in women’s healthcare and branded generics.
In Q1FY26, the company reported a 24.5% YoY jump in revenue to ₹3,570 crore, while EBITDA grew 26% to ₹847.6 crore, maintaining a 23.7% margin. However, net profit dipped 18.1% to ₹444.6 crore due to higher costs. Exports rose sharply by 81.1% to ₹469 crore, and market share improved to 4.9% from 4.8%, underscoring Mankind’s steady growth momentum in both domestic and international markets.
