NATCOPHARM
has launched generic Pomalidomide capsules in the US market, targeting adult patients suffering from multiple myeloma who have already undergone at least two prior therapies, including lenalidomide and a proteasome inhibitor. The drug, introduced in partnership with Breckenridge Pharmaceutical, is available in four strengths 1 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg, and 4 mg and will primarily be distributed through specialty pharmacies and clinics.
Importantly, the company believes it has secured 180 days of shared exclusivity for the product, which is significant given that the reference drug recorded estimated US sales of about $3.2 billion for the 12 months ended September 2025. Management indicated that this launch further strengthens Natco’s oncology and specialty portfolio in the US while improving patient access to affordable therapies.#StockInNews#WatchOutFor#EquityResearch#FundamentalViews#Miscellaneous
